Healthy Smile Visit

Visiting Kids Dental Experts approximately every 6 months for Healthy Smile Visits ensures that your child’s oral health is being evaluated regularly as recommended by the American Dental Association. These appointments allow our pediatric dental specialists to answer any questions you may have and address any concerns they find in a timely manner.

Our Healthy Smile Visits are comprised of preventative services like dental cleanings, x-rays, fluoride treatments, and an exam. During the exam, our doctors take a comprehensive look at your child’s oral health, and in addition to any necessary treatment, they may also recommend sealants or orthodontic treatment at the appropriate time. Our hygienists are always happy to review proper brushing and flossing techniques.

Our pediatric dental offices offer a comfortable, kid-friendly environment. There are iPads with games in our reception areas, a movie is always playing above each dental chair, and we welcome parents to join their child throughout their visit. Our clinical team uses easy to understand terminology and will show which instruments and equipment they’ll be using to avoid any surprises. Each child is offered a balloon and a toy at the end of their visit, and kids leave us with a smile!
